I still left your account active from the last time you helped me out on the site. (Chinook.school-core.com)

If that would be of any help.

I’m looking in the Console in FireFox in FireBug.

I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking for. I don’t get any errors but there are quite a few warnings. Is there something specific that I should be looking for?

Sorry I don’t know more about this.

    Hey Brajesh,

    thanks for the quick response.

    1. I have version 1.0.3 installed.
    2. MediaPress is not currently Network activated or activated on the main site.

It appears to be a multisite/wordpress issue. I can upload media to directly to the library but not from the page. (Add Media) button. I will get the error loading image. Try again later, but the image will be uploaded to the library but I have to refresh the page or check the media library to see it.

This doesn’t happen when I’m logged in as SuperAdmin. Everything works fine. It’s when my students login or on my test account that I get the error.

It’s happening on a couple of my Multisite student networks.

Please let me know if you need more info or screenshots.

    Thanks,

    Jay

    Hey Brajesh,

thank you for all the help. Looks like I am having a server issue when I get the students all on. I kept getting connection failures and hitting the resource limit.

Not sure if this could be causing the registration issues or not.

Is there a way to intergrate your registration page from the theme BP Magic. I really like the way it’s setup and walks the student through the steps. With my registration page now a lot of students are not checking the “Give me an e-Portfolio” check box and are registering without a site.

    Thanks again,

    Jay

So I would have the code like this:

    add_user_to_blog( $blog_id, $user_id, get_option(‘subscriber’) );

This will guarentee that the students get logged into the main site? Will it affect them getting a site of their own in Multisite?

Is there something that can be done with the 2 nd issue of students not getting registered on the main site?

I am using Wordpfence and I will deactivate it and see how that goes.

    Would Wordfence affect the following:

Other times I get a variety of issues:
    – Template doesn’t load and the student gets a basic Twenty fifteen template. (I then have to clone the template to the students site)

    – Students will get a site but won’t be registered on the main site (buddypress). This will not allow the student to login on the main site.

    – Student won’t get a site. (not 100% sure if they are registering properly, but it’s happening a fair bit)

    – password will not work. (I believe this is due to not getting register properly on the main site.)

That’s what I was thinking too. I couldn’t see the server being the issue.

All they said was it sounds like a server issue and to check the server logs and to enable debug mode. They seemed to think that because I am having the issues on all the Multisite networks that may by the reason for the server.

The problems only occur when I have a class registering. There are quite a few students registering from the same IP address in their lab. Maybe that’s why he’s thinking its a server issue?

    Hi Brajesh,

I was wondering if you know anything about this. The WPMU.org support suggested that it might be a server issue causing these problems.

    Does this sound reasonable?
