Thank you! Just noticed my membership ended – will get that renewed ASAP!
Looking forward to future updates

Hi Brajesh,
Just updating you on this. I did check the theme’s function.php file and the only change is the one we made to the BP_DEFAULT_COMPONENT. The default landing for all profiles work except for this new one I created:
https://collegetrackr.com/members/collegetrackr/
I indicated in the member type settings to set default slug as ‘profile’ so adding that to the URL above, it works.
This is not urgent so please take your time to reply.
Thank you!

Another suggestion about Contact Me plugin. I don’t see the need for users to see their own contact form tab. I might be wrong, but I don’t see an option to disable this in your own profile.
Also, it could be a good idea to add the contact form to groups too (similar to member profiles). Maybe, we can limit it based on group types?
Sorry about all these suggestions but I just love your plugins and anything that could make it better is a win-win for everyone!

Great! I didn’t know that about group types – interesting! Thanks, Brajesh!

Oh, I see now. Yes, that would be wonderful. If a user creates a group tab and then associates one or more groups (similar to member type), that would solve everything. However, if we go with the group type criteria (I’m assuming you are referring to private, public and member), the tab would still be open to all types of that specific group type which would limit the possibilities. The former would be a better option – in my opinion.

I’m a little confused with your last note: “you can select one or more group on the tab add/edit screen(Like we do on member type plugin page)”. Sorry – I guess I’m not understanding the reference to the member type plugin.
I guess as long as we could somehow associate a tab to a group in some way, that would be great. If your suggestion allows for that, that would be awesome!

Great! Yes, I think you are right.
Thanks again for even considering my suggestions!

Brajesh,
Just another thought. If we can get HTML up and running, what could be great for users is to include a customized header such as the site logo. Currently, as it stands, we can add a subject line to all outgoing emails. That could help build brand awareness and add a ton of value – similar to how the buddypress emails work. In addition, if we can add the MailChimp checkbox for subscriptions with a custom note (e.g., Please check to receive….), that would be icing on the cake!
Anyways, these are just my suggestions but I do hope you can consider including them in the next update!
Best,

Brajesh,
It works!! Thank you.
I look forward to the next update to this amazing plugin. I hope we can make something like the profile tabs pro where we can limit certain tabs to specific groups – that would be very useful.
