Hi Jeff,
No problem. The role selected should not override our role. user_register action is fired after the default role is set so our role should override it(the role must exist).
If it is not working, you may try by switching to
edit_user_created_useraction instead of ‘user_register’
If it is for aesthetics reason(hiding from display, please use css).

Hi Irina,
Thank you for the updates. In 1.3.4, you need to visit settings and enable the featured image. It is a regression from 1.3.3 and we will fix it in next update(keep it on by default).

Hi Tom,
Welcome to BuddyDev.I don’t think you need the above code.
Is your goal to display the fields in profile card as shown on the image?

Brajesh Hi Phil,
I am sorry but the plugin will not work with your theme. The plugin needs some classes/ids to work with conditions. All normal BuddyPress theme have this set properly.
The theme is not following any normal way, so I am sorry but even if I want, I won’t be able to do much with it.

BrajeshThank you. Seems strange. Will check and report by evening.

Hi Irina,
I am sorry but I have no idea of what could be causing conflict. I tested it again to be sure and it is working on 4.9.8/BuddyPress 3.2We are using standard wp_editor() function for the richtext which should have worked
https://github.com/sbrajesh/bp-simple-front-end-post/blob/master/form.php#L34
Can you please ask the theme developer to check if there is any issue between the plugin and the theme.

Brajesh Hi Irina,
Thank you.I am sorry but multiselect is not supported yet. We do support single selectbox. I guess, you will have o wait a little more for this multiselect in our next update.

Hi Jeff,
Yes, that is correct.I added the check as we do not want users to misuse it. The user_register action fires even when a user registers from front end and if we do not put a check on who is creating the user, The code has a potential to be misused.
