Hi Richard,
Is there a chance that you have some customization for the upload form?In my case, I see the option for subscriber as well as other users too.

Hi Hugo,
1. Please make sure that “Group Cover Image Uploads” is enabled from the Dashboard->settings->BuddyPress->Options.
Once it is enabled, you will see the option to upload header while creating the group as well as from Single Group->Manage-> Cover Image page. You can also set a default group header image from Customize->BuddyPress->general section.
2. You mean the small tooltip like BuddyPress shows by default? We will add cs for the same in next update.
PS:- Community Builder 2.0 will be available in next 7-15 working days and we are dropping our current page builder. We will be supporting Elementor and other popular page builder though( I have tested with Elementor, have to do the same for 3-4 others).
Regards

Hi Paul,
Thank you. I have been looking at all the plugins and I am not sure if anyone of them can cause it.The problem is most probably related to either template caching(page template not being loaded) or something hooking with the_content and replacing our content.
Please allow me 1 more day. I have limited options there as I can not edit any file, so it is mostly I am trying to install and replicate with some of the plugins locally.
Thank you

Hi Robert,
Thank you for confirming. You are right about admin. We don’t apply restrictions on admin.
About the message, if you enable the BP Nouveau template pack, The message will be shown in a fading infobox.
Including a popup for a smaller plugin like this will be a bad thing for site speed. That’s why we have kept it minimal. Also, we do not do much on the client side. The error message is actually handled by theme(Yes, we simply send it to the theme from server) and It mostly depends on how they do it.
Most of the theme in market is based on BP legacy which replaces content in place. The new BP Nouveau template shows a infobox.

Hi Paul,
Thank you.I logged into the site and have tested. It seems like the site is not loading MediaPress template files at all.
1. Is there any plugin(any other plugin) or theme specific change from your previous site?
It seems to me some plugin is modifying ‘the_content’ filter in a way that is making loading template difficult.
Any pointer will help. Please let me know if you can remember any change in plugin/theme(addition of plugin/theme or change).
If not, Please grant me temporary access to admin and I will try to troubleshoot it there.
Permalinks are fine, they are not throwing 404.

Hi Paul,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. It is most probably something to do with the file system path.
Can you please provide me temporary access as a normal user to view one of the galleries. I can get some idea from looking at it.
In the meantime, if possible, Please visit Dashboard->MediaPress->Tools and share me the info.
Thank you

Hi Richard,
I am going to try with your setting in an hour too and will see if I can recreate it.In the plugin, We do use 2 urls for editing depending on the current user’s capability. If the user is author or above(or as dictated by the edit capability), We use backend urls else the front end edit url.
Here is how we do it:-
1. If current user has the capability specified for editing in the backend(See admin edit capability option), we show the admin edit url.
2. In all other cases we show the front end edit url.Regards
