Yes, and it does not do that now, so a bit of a strange one.

Yep it was that link, I clicked on it and at first it told me I had to fill out a user questionnaire about Firefox, then it offered me a free IPhone and then told me I had a virus and to call that “Microsoft” number.

I accessed the link and it told me I had a chance to win an Iphone 7, then took me to a dodgy link, when I quit this it came up with a warning that I had been infected with a virus and told me to contact “Microsoft” via a phone number they provided etc. all very suspicious.

Also I was wondering if it would be possible to have blogs posted that use a group category to create an activity update in the group?

Yes that seems to fix it, it seems to fix the issue with users being assigned to the wrong membership type and also the user visibility issue I had too.
