BP Nicey theme for BuddyPress Updated with Vertical Nav
I am glad to put an updated version of Bp Nicey today with the vertical navigation back.
Yes, It is for BuddyPress 1.2.x and this version brings back the vertical navigation. The good thing is, It not only brings back the vertical navigation for profile/group but for all the BuddyPress components. I have used some hack and I am sure if some theme developers look at that, there are going to be a flurry of themes with vertical navigation. There is one sweet hack to get it working on all the pages. I will leave it for you all to figure out the hack 🙂

- 2 column layout
- Vertical nav for User profile

- vertical nav for any BP component(Be it Achievements/links/events or anything)
Future Update will be mainly concentrated on refractoring the css and making it simple. Currently, the css may contain the remnants of BuddyPress 1.x era.

Tested the theme further and following are some enhancements to add to style.css:

Hey great theme but I have one problem. When I try to make new pages they are not showing up in the nav bar. It has been working fine on other templates but not with this one. I have tried deactivating all plugins but still no luck. Any idea what may be wrong?

Since the main menu of the tehem does not allows many link(they will break it), I had dropped it in the core. Incase you want it back, plese put this in bp-custom.php or functions.php

Hi i really like the themes and got 1 question how am i gonna change the header i mean replace it and put some jpg. in dashboard like bp default theme

we have disabled the header upload for bp-nicey at the moment. So, currently you won't be able to do that from dashboard. Instead, please change it using css. I will certainly put back the functionality in next release.
I love BP Nicey! But is it possible to use this theme for a mobile phone/iphone etc..

Hi Robin,
I think you can not use bp-nicey for mobile as it is. As you may know, for mobile, we need specific change in themes, so most of the time It is left on the plugins to do that. Please check BuddyPress Mobile plugin by modemlooper, you can use that to serve to mobile clients.
