Add category to corresponding group

    Hey brajesh

    The post published from the dashboard don’t show up in the group activity i even tried it and even tried with associating with group terms again as you told.

    I am sorry, there was a bug preventing it. We have fixed it. I am uploading it on BuddyDev now. Will reply back after it.

    Thank you for the patience.

    1. Please upgrade to 1.3.1 from here

    Once you have saved the terms association for group(re-saved), any new post published with the terms will be added to group activity stream.

    2. To enable listing the posts on the group’s blog page, Please visit Dashboard->settings->Blog Categories for Group and set “In the group post list, Include posts which were not published from group?” to “yes”.

    thanks for updating it but it is still not working i mean the post is showing in the group blog section but it is not showing in the group activity stream

    I have tried it today and it has been working.

    Do you have blogs post recording enabled in BuddyPress settings?

    Aldo, are you using any custom post type/taxonomy?

    Is the blog post being recorded in the sitewide stream?

    Please let me know anf I will assist further.

    Ps: I have left for the day. Will be able to assist you from 9AM IST tomorrow.

    yes blog post is recording in the sitewide stream but not in buddypress group activity stream

    Hi,
    Please share me a screenshot of your Blog Categories for Groups page.
    Also, are you comfortable with phpmyadmin? Need to check if group to term ids were synced or not.

    Well regarding phpmyadmin i can check the group term ids if pointed to right direction

    Also the blog is shown in group activity stream if we publish it from your simple front end post plugin
