[Resolved] Post Meta Display Control Not Updated Post List

    Hi-

    I purchased your BuddyBlog Pro plugin today, but I cannot get the custom meta data to show on my post lists page.

    The site is OmKnom.com and can anyone can register if you would like to test it.

    In my Recipe Forms settings under this area…
    Post Meta Display Control > With Post Excerpt:

    It says…
    “This section allows you to control the display of your custom meta data in the posts list. Please add the meta shortcodes from custom fields section here.”

    I have enabled this feature and copied and pasted the following in both the before and after excerpt boxes…

    bbl-meta key=”recipephoto”]

    [bbl-meta key=”description”]

    Should this not be allowing these content pieces to be displayed on the post type summary that is on the post list page/tab?

    Currently it is still only showing Title and Edit/Delete functionality.

    Hi Kyle,
    Thank you for using our plugins.

    1. Please disable BuddyBlog and Simple Front end posting plugin. you don’t need them while using BuddyBlog Pro.

    After that, Please check the same and let me know.
    I have registered on the site and will be glad to do another testing then.

    Hey Brajesh, thanks for the quick reply. This did not seem to work though. Here is what I did.

    1. Uninstalled both plugins
    2. Emptied cache
    3. Resaved the form
    4. Refreshed the page

    The post list still only shows the title and the edit/delete links. What else can I try?

    Thank you.
    It’s strange. I can see the meta on the single recipe page. Are you sure you have copied the ticked the Yes checkbox for the post list?

    I haven’t tested this functionality recently with BuddyBoss. Will do that too in couple of hours and get back to you.

    Yes, the “Enable Extra meta display” is set to “yes”.

    Hi Kyle,
    I had another look at your site. The content/excerpt is not visible on the posts list screen.

    We are using filters to append meta to the excerpt/content if enabled. since that does not seem to be enabled, the post meta is not visible.

    can you please tell me if you are using any setting for not showing content on the posts list page?

    Not that I know of. Unless the buddyboss theme has done anything with those features, I have not done anything that I know of that would impact that. If you need login credentials for the site to check around, let me know.
