Eric LUCAS on in reply to: Issues with BP Membership pro #24707

And even after renaming all the slugs of the member types to new ones, the problem remains the same. I thought that maybe there was a confusion because I used the same slugs as before installing the pro version.
I updated also the “profile fields” with the 4 members types created. But no way, the bulk add never reflects in the profiles.

And on top of that, even for the users for whom I have put a member type manually in their profile, it shows in the profile but it does not reflect on the badges (I have create a custom badge for “parents”), and also if I click on “parents” (the name of a members type) on a profile page, it leads me to users/type/pe-pa2 (which is the right new slug) but it says that there are no users of this type….. you can see that here : https:// autistance .org /users/magaly-b/profile/

And also it does not work neither for the bagdes (which was the reason for me to buy the plugin, because I want to put badges for the countries and languages of the users). In other words, trying to bulk assign member types with BP memberships pro does not work (it just shows in the users list of WP), for me…………

P.S. When I click on the button “support” for the subscription for support for this plugin (that I bought), it brings me bak here…

Hello, I would like to know if you have replied. Maybe it is not visible here because it’s marked as private ? I love you plugins and I hope you can make this one working (“limit members per group” (public group)). Thanks.

Yes I would like to find a solution, because there are already people joing my public group (which I don’t want), that you can see here : https://autistance.org/groups/org-aut-allianceautiste-orgintl-onu-cdph-rapport-2020/

I tried to use the plugin “Limit members per group”, which can be a temporary trick, but it simply does not work on my site… I tried many settings and it’s always possible to join the (public) groups instantly (I never saw the message about group reaching max capacity)….

I hope you can help…. I bought the plugin BP User Badges, which is nice…
    Thanks !

Hello, I would like only users with certain roles to be able to join public groups.
(I need the logged-in users to be able to see the content of the public groups, but I don’t want anyone to be a member. Unfortunately anyone can click the “join group” and be instantly a member.
Do you know if there is a plugin to do that ? I don’t know PHP.
May I post here the URL of an exemple group, so that you can figure out the situation ?
It is not a commercial site, it is for a very good cause 🙂
    Thanks !
