    Update,

I replicated my current website as it is on my Local host and checked. Interestingly, everything worked perfectly, without showing any error!
Looks like the problem is at my end!
May be I will try a fresh install of WordPress and BuddyPress on my server as my site is still under development.Hoping that it will resolve the problem.
If I am able to identify the underlying issue by any chance,I will share it with you.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention;it meant a lot to me.

    Best Regards,

I deactivated all plugins other than BuddyPress and Activity Plus Reloaded and Checked;but error still remains. Tried changing over to default WP theme also.

If problem is with my Wordpres install, what could be causing problem?

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Brajesh,

Thanks for the quick response. Glad to hear that you are going to update this wonderful plugin.

I don’t remember making any changes on the server at any point of time. All that I know is that my hosting service provider(Site ground)had recently updated their php version.

Anyways,I will wait the fix from your end. Have a good day!

An Update for your information :

When I installed “BuddyPress Edit Activity”plugin and tried editing the saved activity feed containing error specified above, the code appeared as follows:

[bpfb_link url=’https://youtu.be/8jeLCQ62vFk’ title=’There has been an error processing your request’ image=”]There has been an error processing your request[/bpfb_link]

However, while trying to edit the same link which I had posted earlier in the activity feed (which worked without any error)the code appeared as :
[bpfb_link url=’https://youtu.be/8jeLCQ62vFk’ title=’Transform a Damaged Laptop into an ALL-IN-ONE desktop PC – YouTube’ image=’https://i.ytimg.com/vi/8jeLCQ62vFk/maxresdefault.jpg’%5DIn this video we’ll be transforming an old laptop into an all-in-one PC! Also, regarding Blinkist, the first 100 people to go to http://www.blinkist.com/diyp…%5B/bpfb_link%5D

Interestingly, when I pasted the above code using edit activity option,it appeared without any error!

    Hi Brajesh,

Thanks a lot for the quick reply!!
The link that you had sent seems to be a wrong one!

No issue.. I just checked out the translation method.
I found out two relevant plugins to do the job. They are
    1. Loco Translate
    2. WPT Custom Mo File
Are there any other plugin ?
Bit confused as to which one to select now.Could you please suggest one.

Also cam to know about using POedit method, which I think is bit complex..

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Brajesh,

Finally ,I found out the reason! It was a silly mistake that I made. In fact, I didn’t check the last option that appeared on the Member Type list on the profile filed creation page. I think,I had unchecked it sometime back without checking the possible result! Hope I didn’t bother you too much!Anyways, thanks for your immediate response and very specifically a Big Thanks for the series of wonderful plugins that you have made available to the WordPress developers community, all around the world.

    Hi Brajesh,
Thanks for the quick reply! I have created 6 member types .I checked , BP Xprofile Member type field plugin is active. I deactivated all the plugin and re-activated them again. Now,”single profile filed” is showing up in the field selection menu and member types options are showing up on the user profile page! The problem remaining now is that memeber type options are not getting displayed on the registration page!
One thing taht I forgot to mention in the last message was that,I had recently changed my First name,Display name and Nick name on my admin profile page . Would this have affected the functioning of the plugin by any chance? What would you suggest me to do next?
