Yeah, I notice lots of users are changing their profile multiple times (more than 4 times, trying to get the notice removed), though they can start using the site.
This isn’t going well 🙁

Yes, it is related to BP Profile Completion with Auto Activation.
It seems to confuse people – even though they can move forward with the website, the notice stays up for 2 pages (on profile).
For example. Say Bob changes profile image: selects image, uploads image, crops image, then the image shows up as his avatar, but the notice still shows on Bob’s profile page.
Then Bobs, decides to click another link on profile, say Mail, the link still shows. Then Bob decides to click Activity on profile, then it goes away.
It has something to do with the ajax of uploaded image, I’m sure.
So, I tested just refreshing the page with F5, again, it takes two F5 refreshes to remove the notice 🙁
Thanks for reading, hope you can help.

Okay, I’ll wait 🙂 But no, what I’ve mentioned on these forums for plugin (i.e. character limit, copy subject prefix for admin, etc.) is all I got – other than those little details, it’s a solid plugin 🙂

Sounds great. Thank you.

Okay, that works too 🙂
Thanks!
You are correcto-mundo! The issue was with WP Hide plugin – I updated it – BOOM – Buddypress Message Attachment works on live server.
Thank you for allowing me to bounce it off you – it helped me, trust.
Take care and best.
I can’t believe how hard it was to get this working…it says it hasn’t been worked on in at least 3 WP revisions, yet there is nothing else like it I could find (except 1, over the top plugin that ruins the Private Messaging).
Oh well – totally needed 🙂
Thanks.
Just note, there are not WP errors, no php erros, no errors in php log, no errors, just when the file downloads on live server, it tries to download attachment, get 0k “failed”.
Looking forward to any suggestions, as it works perfect on localhost.
Thanks!
