I’ve installed this plugin and see no observable change to my site. On the Edit Gallery Details tab, I still see the cover image with only two options “Upload New Cover” and “Delete”
Ideally, I’d like to see “Choose New Cover” as the only option that then gives you options to “Upload/Select/Delete”
It would also be helpful on the Edit Media screen to add a checkbox to “Make This Image The Cover Image” or something similar.
On the Reorder tab, it would be nice to highlight the cover image in some way, either by overlaying the word “Cover” or adding an outline or other visual clue so they know which one is the cover. It should not be dependent on where the image is placed in the gallery…. ie, the cover image could be #10 in a gallery of 30 images.

I don’t think you should redirect to the View tab, because I agree, they may want to add more. Is there a way to simply add a text notification above the thumbnail list that says something like “24 Files Successfully Uploaded!”

Yes, I already have a bp_custom.php that I’m using in /wp-content/plugins. I added the code but see no change in my Media Library.

Yes, I’m using shortcode for listing. I do have some basic knowledge about overriding templates, html and css but not a lot of knowledge of php. 🙂 I’d appreciate any help you could offer!

I wondered about this same thing… Especially since admins don’t know whether they can use that media on the public part of the website.
I tried adding this code to bp_custom.php but is it retroactive? I still see all of the MediaPress images in my WordPress Media Library.

I’d be interested in a better progress bar as well. Or at least a notification that the upload is complete. I’m not a developer so no idea how to use that code you posted. 🙂
