Hi Richard,
Can you please help me understand it better.Do you want us to put a default status(open/close) by default?
Regards
Brajesh Hi Anders,
As per your other post, you are using incorrect capability. There is no capability called ‘author’.Please see the list here
https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/#authorAdd the publish_posts in the capability of BuddyBlog and it will work for authors.
Regards
BrajeshPlease share the screenshot of your BuddyBlog settings page again. Te only reason is permission issue.
Hi
1. The post password is not supported.
2. The tags/Categories will appear if you have some terms in them. They can be assigned from the front end but need to be created from backend. Tags/Categories can not be created from the front end. Please create some categories in backend and they should appear.
Regards
BrajeshThank you.
For our testting ourpose we are going to update the settings and see what happens.
1. Please visit Plugins->Installed and search for “BP Simple” and make sure the BP Simple Front end post is “Active” if not active, activate it. It must be “Active”
Now, if that does not make it work, Please visit Dashboard->settings->BuddyBlog and change this
“Limit Number of posts a user can create” -> Set “No”
“Which Capability Is required for Post creation” -> readPlease update these two and check again. Is it showing the editor now?
Regards

Hi Christian,
Thank you for the question.
Both are doable. We left it this way to allow admins see what users are doing on their site. I will add an option in next version to toggle the visibility from the media manager.Regards

Hi Chris,
2. Sorry for not being clear. Your description makes me understand it better. What I conclude from here is that we only need to show tabs created for current language(or have a translation in current language).
