Now my question, which version of BuddyPress are you using? Please make sure it is not 4.0(4.0 has a bug). 3.2 or 4.1 will allow you edit the slug.

Hope you are doing well.
I finally spent sometime with the plugin.I am not sure why you are having issue as the plugin allows group admin/moderators to add/delete/update project and tasks corerctly from the group screen. I tested with a user role=subscriber and made him group admin to test.
Then I looked at the code and I see that all the permissions are allowed for group admin/moderator.
Can you please re try it? Also, is there anything special about your groups(private, hidden etc )?

Hi Philippe,
Please upgrade to 1.2.6 and it will be fixed.The problem was BuddyPress was overwriting our role changes. In the new update, I have add some code to disable role change by BuddyPress on registration if the role is already set. That fixes it.

Please share the complete modified code.
Also, make sure you did not copy it from the email as the email gets entity encoded.
