    Was there a new release of the theme? It seems similar to the issue we had earlier with BP_DEFAULT_COMPONENT.

    Can you please check the theme’s functions.php for the same?

    Hope you are doing well.

    The most probable cause of this is corrupted json response form server. It seems that there is some php notice corrupting the json response from server leading to this.

    If you are using chrome, please open network panel and after upload, please check for the response.

    It seems the issue might be with the member type field configuration.

    Please visit Dashboard->Users->profile Fields and edit the member type field. see if you have set to include only certain member types.

    Since we haven’t released a new update and neither has been a new release of BuddyPress, It seems very unlikable than the field configuration.
