It seems the media widget and shortcode might have issues with remote media. I am looking at it and will be pushing an update in next 2 days.I am still not sure of the random media though. Will check and report back.

Thank you for reporting. I am pushing an update today. It has been long due for the Auto Activate as well as the Ajax Registration plugin since WordPress not supports email login out of the box.Please allow me to have an update by day end today.

Hi Mark,
Thank you asking.We can certainly help you enabling/disabling it per gallery if that helps. We can not enable it per folder though.
MediaPress understands Gallery and media, the folder(used for internal storage) may not have much relevance in the way we treat media.
If you want it for per gallery, please let me know.

Thank you for using the plugin.The problem seems to be with the theme’s css.
you can still fix it by putting the following line in css
.activity-inner .emoji { max-width: 32px; }You can add the css by going to Dashboard->Appearance->Customize->Addistionla CSS section.
