    Thank you for the details Dave.
    I noticed an issue and have updated the plugin. Please upgrade to 1.4.4 and the password reset message will be gone.

    https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-auto-activate-auto-login/

    Also, to enable the default welcome message, you can put the following code in bp-custom.php

    add_filter( 'wpmu_welcome_user_notification', '__return_true', 220 );

    Hope that helps.
    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Carl,
    I am sorry for the inconvenience. It was a mistake on my part in the example code.

    The code should have used ‘privacy_type’ instead of ‘privacy’ in the array key.

    I have updated the code. Please use it and It will work.

    Please do know that the Default Message Privacy settings will work for all users who haven’t manually saved settings for the message privacy. There is no need for new user registration.

    Please do let me know if it works for you or not?

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Carl,
    Thank you.
    Most probably it is being caused by “BP Auto Activate Autologin Redirect To Profile On Signup”

    I am looking at it and will have and update soon.

    No need to change, bp-custom.php is the most suited location.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Dave,
    I am sorry for the inconvenience. Can you please check and let me know which version of the Activate Auto Login plugin are you using? Also, Please let em know your WordPress, BuddyPress version. Is it a multisite install?

    This should not send any email like it.
    I will help with welcome email sending after this.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Mike,
    I am sorry, It seems some confusion. When you click on the View link of a gallery, Is it linking to admin(Dashboard?) or is it doing something else?

    is it the same site? If yes, will I be able to test it there?
    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Simon,
    It is by design at the moment. It is possible to open but our implementation/use of magnific popup does not support it. Please do not use lightbox tag here. That will link the gallery to their individual page and users should be able to view the videos.

    We will explore in future on enabling the lighbox for videos too.

    Thank you Simon.

    In the same way you can override all the template(even the lightbox too). The lightbox template is in templates/default/gallery/media/views/lightbox-comment.php.
    You can cop that to yourtheme/mediapress/default/gallery/media/views/lightbox-comment.php

    Hope that helps.
    All the best 🙂

    Hi Mark,
    Thank you for posting.
    Here is the code that you can use

    if ( function_exists( 'bp_account_deactivator' ) ) {
    	bp_account_deactivator()->set_inactive( $user_id );
    }

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Lavish,
    Thank you for looking at it. I will check a little more and will post back later. I am not sure about the reason. The MailGun plugin overrides wp_email and using the above filter forces BuddyPress to use wp_email instead of new methods.

    Will have more details once I do a few tests today.
