Thank you for the question.At the moment, I haven’t seen any solution for allowing updating of xprofile fields in this manner.
My suggestion will be to use the user switching plugin and grant the switching capability to user’s that you want to be able to edit other’s profile.

Thank you for the reply.The simple way will be to visit Dashboard->Settings->Reading and set the page as Home page that you want to be visible to the logged out user.

At the moment, the “BuddyBlog” plugin does not have the ability to be enabled for a specific role.You may be able to filter on ‘buddyblog_setup_main_nav’ and ‘buddyblog_adminbar_nav’ to return empty array for all user’s except one but that is the not bet way to achieve it.

You have the BuddyPress Profile Component disabled.Please visit dashboard->Settings->BuddyPress->Component and enable it.
