Hi Brajesh,
They are trying to make an updated version, but currently it causes my site to pull a critical error when a user updates their username with your plugin.
I would like to see if you could help me with a simpler approach. Is there a code-snippet function you could provide me to send a webhook when the username is updated that would contain the new UserID and new Username in the payload?

I have discussed this with them. They are not willing to update their posted code snippet solution. They asked me to post fixing this security breach as a feature request. Could I hire your firm to solve?

That’s impressive! On my staging site, I deactivated all plugins except BuddyBoss and the BuddyBoss theme. All are the latest versions.
Switching to the default WordPress theme didn’t help.
Running the BuddyBoss theme from the main theme instead of child didn’t help.
Adding back BuddyBoss Pro didn’t help.I’m on a Cloudways server. Since we now know that my desired result works in your case, what do you recommend I do to troubleshoot it for my case? Could it be a server issue? Is this something you can solve for me?

Thank you Brajesh. That was helpful. But I still am not clear on what to expect for BuddyBoss…
Can you demonstrate the same result in BuddyBoss?
I tried running BuddyBoss with no other plugins and I still can’t make it work. So I still can’t tell if it’s a bug or if BuddyBoss just didn’t include that feature from BuddyPress.
What do you think?

I thought that and recently raise the issue to senior support at BB and they said they don’t have that feature. Another buddypress dev said the same about buddypress.
Could you please send me a screencast showing the Type filter display working in BuddyBoss or at least Buddypress that I could send back to a BB senior tech I know?

Back to the original issue of pulling 404 errors on a persons profile page, I can also see that if I set the Profile to the first tab and someone hides their profile, we would again have the same issue – a direct URL referral to that person’s profile would redirect to a 404 page.
Is there a way to gracefully handle 404 errors relating to any profile blocks? I would like to choose a live page for blocked profile errors. Is there a code snippet I could use for that?

Thank you!! That worked like a charm.
But now we have just a very boring profile view (see image: https://www.loom.com/i/1cf74bc251d7456ebb9cb65e95f2ccec).
What can I do to make the info displayed on the Profile tabs look cool and include more info? Perhaps you recall, I was hoping to include the WordPress backing Biographical Info field as something editable. But this profile is soooo boring looking lol!!
I want anybody who clicks on a profile to be able see something great, like a slimmed down LinkedIn profile with spots for interesting info and a nice layout.
