    Another suggestion is for the ability to load a cover image for Audio and video files.

    I found a fix for this, what I did was install WPCustimize Pro (New plugin) and this allowed me to edit the padding that was above and below the text area, I took this down to 1px for both and that allowed the Title to display correctly.

    There is still another problem in that the description is not a multi-line text area as originally designed but this is much less of an issue.

    I’ve worked this out now, it is for the creation of sitewide galleries. These show in the gallery list but clicking on them takes you to the gallery list again. Only the admin seems to be able to upload to these galleries.

    I did load up Adminimize and WPFRont User Role editor but had not changed any setting, also I unloaded these and still get the error. This is on my test system, I think there are only 4 or 5 plugins loaded – Disable Comments, Limit Logins, Mediapress and buddypress.

    Also, when in this view, under comments on my system the following characters are displayed: — I have yet to make any gallery level comments so not sure where they are coming from.

    I’ve just tried it again and it worked this time so I’m not sure what my problem was.

    Seems to be just the audio, I did the same with photos and they all display correctly on the widget

    I think the video gallery should also include the feature to add Youtube and other video hosting providers links. The video gallery is a place for people to share and comment on videos of all formats, in my experience 99/5 of people upload their videos to youtube or similar and then post these links to social sites for discussion. I’d like my video galleries to include this as an option.

    Ah I’ve worked out what the problem is. It is when you do multiple uploads at one time, it seems that the additional tracks to not get completed properly and they do not show in the widget but they do show on the activity stream.

    This is similar to the issue I was talking about the other day where not posting a comment with an upload seems to mess with the system and uploads only half make it to the site.
