    Hi Daniel,
I am sorry for the delayed reply. They did not answer my question and instead posted a generic reply. I know which actions are available. My question was which of the two actions I had mentioned was suitable according to them.

My concern was if ‘ihc_new_subscription_action’ gets fired again and again on editing the user, It will not suits us. But if it is only fired when a new subscription/membership is assigned, it will suit us.

Can you please re ask the same.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Daniel,
    Thank you for the patience.

    The update is available now.

    https://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-member-types-pro/

Please do note that you should Remove any Member Type to Role Mapping or role to member type mapping in order to make it work.

For more details, Please see the updated note here.

Thanks Brajesh! You’re awesome! Please can you tell what do you mean with:

“If you need roles to change, Please use the role assigning provided by Ultimate Memberships Pro.”

Because with that plugin i can’t manage the role. The Memberships / Levels can’t change the role when the level changes:

Custom WP Role Available: only during the registration step for new users.

    Or maybe i’m missing smething.

    Thanks for all

    Thank you Daniel.

    Here is what I found.

I was mapping member type to role(had associated role in member type edit screen). When I added a membership to the user using ultimate membership plugin(from that plugin’s user/edit screen). The user kept vanishing from the ultimate memberships members screen .

If I removed the mapping of member type to role, the users who were given membership after that were visible. That’s why I suggested it.

I do see that the plugin’s role option was available to me as I was assigning membership from dashboard.

My suggestion will be give it a try with a test user account and see what happens.

    Regards
    Brajesh

Thanks Brajesh!! Ok i understand better so i’m going to try and see what happens.

But now is more manually because the process perfect would be:

    1) The user buy the product linked with the membership via woocommerce.
1.a I set manually the order as completed and..
1.b The membership is assigned to the user. (automatically)
1.c The membership change the member type of the user. (automatically)
1.d The member type change the role of that user. (automatically)

On this way the point 1.d will be need set as manually but if the second fase works, when the membership ends it will be perfect so i’m going to test it.

    Thanks for all

Hello again! i was thinking and if the point 1.d must be set manually on the rollback But now is more manually because the process perfect would be:

    1) The membership of the expire.
1.a manually the membership plugin change the level (automatically)
1.b The new membership change the member type of the user. (automatically)
1.c The member type won’t change the role of that user. (must be set manually) so we have the same result like before.

Maybe the best would be test or have the role and the member type associated.

    Thanks!

    Hi Daniel,
Your process is the same I expect.

Here is what I should do.

    1. Decide which member type a user gets assigned after expiring
    2. For that specific member type, do not associate a role.

That way, when this member type gets assigned, there is no role change trigger from member type.

1.c works in tests but the membership plugin stops listing the user in their members list. that was the issue I found.

    Please check.

    Brajesh
