Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Brajesh 🙂

    1) Is it at all possible to display the Single Video page outside of the user’s profile? Like on a normal WordPress Post? I’m working on developing a post template for the Single Video page, to give it a more Youtube-like look and feel.

    2) I am looking to develop this feature myself. Do you think it would be possible to create Playlists in MediaPress programmatically? And if so, how? Should I add a Playlist taxonomy to the Gallery Post Type? And how would we make it user-specific, so that other users can’t make changes to the playlists that you create?

Alternatively, would it be possible to duplicate the Gallery Post Type and turn it into the Playlist Post Type? I noticed that there is a “Re-order” Tab in the Edit Gallery area, which would work perfectly for re-ordering your media inside of a Playlist/Gallery.

    3) Okay thanks, I’m looking into this now.

    4) Also, what about Related Media? Like Related Videos, Related Audio. It would be great to show a list of related videos. I saw a plugin you wrote on Github that adds a Category Taxonomy to Galleries, so I think I could duplicate it and modify it for Tags (Non-hierarchical) instead. Then we could query the media that has matching tags and show it at the bottom of the Single Video page, or in a widget.

    Thanks again!

    Hey Brajesh,

I’m just checking in with you on this again. Do you have a new estimate for when this update will be implemented? It would be much easier to use MediaPress if the Galleries were not a requirement.

    Thanks

    Hey Brajesh,

    I hope you are well.

I just want to check in with you on this. What is your progress on the MediaPress update that will enable posting Media without requiring a Gallery?

Are you still on track for releasing this around early May?

    Hey Brajesh,

I thought that the Galleries were like another layer on top of the normal Media function. Sort of a way of categorizing the Media into folders. Until now, I had no idea that Galleries were required to even add Media. I really need this feature for a project I’m working on.

Do you have an estimate for when it will be possible to simply add Media without being forced to add it to a Gallery?

    Hi Brajesh,

I just want to follow up with you on this to see if you’ve found out the source of the issue? And if you are currently working on a solution?

    Thanks

I also have your Member Types Pro plugin Network Active, so I tried deactivating that and testing this again, but the issue still remains.

    Hi Brajesh,

Sorry for the delayed response on this.

To answer your question, yes, I had BuddyPress Follow and BuddyPress FEatured Members Network activated. I deactivated both of these, and I’m still seeing the issue.

When I view my Circles from my Profile, it shows the correct number of members that I added to the circle, a but when I click on the circle to see the members within it, it just basically shows the normal members loop with all of the members, including me.

It seems like it’s not filtering out all the other members from the members loop. So instead of showing only the members included in the circle, it shows all of the members.

I am using the BP Nouveau template pack as well.
