    @sbrajesh,

    This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so very much.

    I do have a fast question.

    In the plugin, you said it might be easier to output the contents of a page/post?

    I was thinking this might be a great way to build a page for the tab with visual composer and make building the page easier. How would I accomplish this?

    Thanks again! Great plugin and hope others can use it.

    @sbrajesh,

    No worries at all! Thank you for all your help getting this together. Hopefully another user will want this as well. I see a lot of topics about it, but no solution over on buddypress.

    @sbrajesh,

    I won’t worry about the bbpress idea.

    I’d like to display the content inside of the tab if possible but if that won’t work, the link will be great as well.

    If I can pass template loops inside of the tab , that will work otherwise I’ll just use a link and build a different page. But ideally, I’d like the tab to be visible to group admins/mods only.

    @sbrajesh,

    Thanks again! I can’t believe it was that easy. I had actually cut out the template file html code from the template itself! It made my file look so much better.

    Thank you!

    Ok,

    I found the issue. I had to run the repair tool since my forums were an import to repair the relationship between buddypress and bbpress.

    I also ran the repair tool to repair hidden/private forums.

    I deleted the group I created, created a new one, made a test post and volia. Nothing was showing and it’s working as intended.

    Thanks for the response Brajesh,

    I did give the cover photo plugin a shot. But for some reason , it’s not showing the photo on the group pages.

    I’m thinking this might be a theme issue, and I’m not sure where to start with it. I’ll start digging around in the template files to see if it’s missing something.

    I saw your plugin that allows group admins to change the background image. Do you have a plugin that allows a group header image?

    Brajesh,

    I came from MyBB, which is an in depth forum. One thing I see lacking in BBpress are forum prefixes and to my surprise, no one has made a plugin for BBpress that allows admins to make forum prefix’s.

    The Getshopped support forums, does it have the ability to add forum prefixes? I noticed in the wordpress plugins that there is a notice it hasn’t been updated in two years (also the Search BBpress 2.0 plugin). Is this the correct area to get them?

    Thanks for the detailed reply.

    Ok scratch the @ mentions in bbpress. I did some digging around.

    It seems if you have “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” checked under “reading setting” then the bbpress @ mentions will not send an alert to buddypress. Very strange, but when I unchecked it , it worked just fine.

    Ah, I think I figured this out.

    I had to add the loop filter scope=just-me,mentions,groups

    It seems to work the way I want it to now.
