Thank you so very much Mr. Ravi and Mr. Brajesh for getting back with this code. I had to reinstall Windows after a crash thus some delay in getting back to you.
The code you provided indeed validate the form in that it won’t publish the form if no taxonomy is selected. And it does that by resetting the form i.e. all entries (content, images are then lost). Since this happens when the “Submit” button is pressed the author would lose all the hard work and is presented with a “resetted” form. I also can’t see any error message displayed in case there is no taxonomy is selected. Can this code be slightly tweaked to display the error code in the form instead of resetting the form?
Many thanks all along for your help.
Ada
PS: I am using Simple Frontend post only with Blog Categories with Groups – Buddyblog is not used here.

Thank you very much Brajesh Sir for your attention. To test your suspicion I installed a couple of other front-end plugins – that particular 3rd party plugin doesn’t seem to have any issues with them i.e. the search tab shows up on the Insert Media screen next to the Media Library tab. So it seems something about the way or the priority SFEP is initiating interferes with the binding.
BP Simple Frontend Post being such a great plugin I do not want to depart from it and so in due time when I have some funding available from the charitable trust I will join as premium member and seek your advice then. Much appreciate all your help. Ada

Sorry for delay in responding to you. I saw that Brajesh Sir has already responded to you in a new thread. It works as described by Brajesh. Changing the slug, however does not work as suggested above.

Thank you very much Brajesh Sir. I didn’t think of translation for label thank you for the that.
When I put the above as in a function and add_action to bp_init in bp-custom.php it didn’t make a difference, then also tried the define by itself in wp-config.php and receive 404 when trying to access a group. Note that each time I saved the permalinks. There must be something else interfering here. For now I stick with the translation. Thanks again for your help. - Ada on April 21, 2016 at 11:03 pm in reply to: [Resolved] Blog Categories For Groups and Custom Taxonomies #3679
This is amazing – it works as expected! Thank you very much Brajesh for all the effort and expert advice.
Btw, the notification on the forum seems not to work sometime – I just saw your addition.
Am up to yet another membership round if my questions become a bit hairy. For now all the best and thank you again.

Much appreciate this Brajesh. I have replaced that section and I still see only the label for the allowed taxonomy (“Level”) and still no terms showing. Perhaps the little tweak you mentioned is still necessary.
I put here all the code and setting that is in place as reference: http://pastebin.com/Cw2AXNE0
Many thanks,
Ada

Hi Brajesh,
may I ask if there has been any progress on this. I have been anxious to solve this for quite some time so I can finally go live.
