    Hello Christopher,

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Plugin settings remain there if you delete the plugin and you can update the settings anytime. Regarding required fields, I have tested the plugin on my local server when the plugin is activated the newly created required field condition will be tested before and the user needs to fill up the required field in order to continue.

    Hello Alison,

    BuddyPress by default send a notification to the user. With the case of email, BuddyPress does send an email notification for new messages to the user only if the user has opted in for the email.

    For your second requirement with PMPRO, it has a BuddyPress addon that offers certain BuddyPress restrictions based on PMPro levels but it might not have the functionality you are looking for.
