There was a bug introduced in 1.3.6. It does not associate any member type to anyone(it may seem so). It simply lost the key during sorting and was behaving incorrectly.I have fixed it. Please upgrade.

It is bug caused due to your BuddyPress upgrade. Please upgrade community builder too.BudyPress dropped legacy forums in 3.0. It seems you have recently upgraded from BuddyPress below 3.0.
Please update Community Builder and it will go away.

Please visit Your Profile->Gallery and click on a gallery. Do you see any image there? Please check in the WordPress Media section too. That will give us an idea if media was uploaded and marked orphan.
PS:- If a media was uploaded or not can be verified by going to Dashboard->Media screen.

You can use ‘Contributor’ .Are you using some plugin to create cusotm roles? In future, we will like to check why it did not work for custom role.
