Please visit Your Profile->Gallery and click on a gallery. Do you see any image there? Please check in the WordPress Media section too. That will give us an idea if media was uploaded and marked orphan.

PS:- If a media was uploaded or not can be verified by going to Dashboard->Media screen.

Are you using some plugin to create cusotm roles? In future, we will like to check why it did not work for custom role.

I need to know how to determine the listing profile of a user if id or username is given.
