Hi Daria,
I am sorry, The plugin restricts all messages. It is not just the first message. It seems our use of the term “New Message” caused confusion.
The new message is for any new message received after activation of the plugin. You can also control if you want to count threads or thread and replies both.
To limit weekly, you need to set the limit to 7*24*60=10080
It is in number of minutes and you can set any value.Regards

It needs modification in your theme and will depend on which theme/template pack you are using.If you are using a custom theme, Please contact the theme developer with above code and they will assist.
If you are not sing any premium theme, Please let me which template pack you are using and I will assist.

Hi Mike,
Welcome back.1. The Member Type entries from the BuddyPress member Types Pro are normal post types, so you can export and import as normal
2. The Member Type to User association is handled by BuddyPress using custom taxonomy “bp_member_type”.
If you export the terms association for this taxonomy, You will have the user to member type association preserved(user_id is object id in the term_relationships tab) .

Welcome to BuddyDev forums.Can you please share a screenshot? The plugin does not add any paragraph. If it is appearing, It is generated by BuddyPress Activity(most probably due to use of wpautop).
