Thank you.1. Yes, I can write a few lines of code for it. It is simple.
2. That depends on theme and will need modification in theme’s activity posting form. It is available by default on directory but will be hidden on profile page for most of the theme.
3. I am going to take a relook at the reshare plugin this weekend(your other topics related to the same) and will update you accordingly.

Thank you for the topic.1. There is n o available plugin for this.
2. Live notification only shows for the current user.The kind of plugin you are looking for, is something which won’t scale on a medium size installation. That’s why there are not plugins available.
May I suggest another approach?
1. Subscribe all your members to a newsletter such as mailchp or other.
2. Use the activity feed to publish to that newsletter.That way, you won’t have to worry about scaling and you can notify users as soon as the update comes.
