Thank you for the video and explaining so nicely.
I see the issue. You disabled the “Friends Tab” visibility. We did not give the option for the friend ship request visibility. I will add that today and push a release by late tonight/early tomorrow.

Please link me to the site with a demo normal user account/password. Also, provide me some example urls to recreate it.
The only factor that can affect oembed width is $content_width setting. If I can check it, I may have a solution.

The comments visibility may depend on which theme or template pack you are using.
1. Which theme are you using? Is it a custom theme?
2. Which template pack is enabled? Is it BuddyPress Legacy or BP Nouveay?
