    Is it happening for non public groups?
    The code works in normal circumstances. If it is not, some other plugin is doing a redirect before this gets called.

    I will suggest changing this

    
add_action( 'bp_core_activated_user', 'bpdev_join_group_on_signup' );

    to

    
add_action( 'bp_core_activated_user', 'bpdev_join_group_on_signup', -1 );

    and see if it works or not?

    Thank you for the kind words.

    My suggestion will be to not modify the mnetwork_table.

    Instead, add user to proper blog using a script and they will be synchronized. I am not sure how will you decide which users should go to which blog. If there is any data to decide that, It will be easy.

    MediaPress does not support WordPress comments upload or attachment with private message. We do have plan to add support for comment attachment in future.

    How are you allowing upload on Wall?
    BuddyPress does not have any upload functionality for wall. f you are not using MediaPress, you are most probably using another plugins for adding upload via wall.

    You will need to contact the plugin author in that case.

    Hi Mic,
    We are using the activity type to let BuddyPress delegate us the action string creation for activity( e.g xyz uploaded 5 photo). It helps us create the action dynamically.

    It seems RT Media is adding a meta and then filtering on the action string t add their own(I haven’t checked it and will only be able to do so after 28th as I am travelling right now).

    We can certainly use that strategy in future. It does have the side effect that we will need to filetr for each activity action.

    Since we do not use the activity type for anything critical, we can certainly replace it in future.

    I am proposing that we add 1 meta to activity updates marking it has attached media and then move forward.

    Also, MediaPress was not designed to work alone. The goal was to make it co operate with other plugins in future(it still is). We will resolve this activity issue in next major release.

    For now, you may want to look for code containing “mpp_media_upload”. The change will need to go around there.
