    Hi,
THe suggestion will depend on your purpose. Do you simply want to accept payment or do you want to sell membership product etc?

There are so many plugins available on wp.org for the same

    Hi Edward,

I am sorry but I am not sure why it did not work. If BuddyPress is active, It should work. Yes, You can put the same code in theme’s functions.php.

Does you functions.php has a closing php tag like this at the bottom of the file

    ?>

    Put this line

    add_filter( 'bp_settings_show_user_data_page', '__return_false' );

    before the closing.

If there is no closing tag then you can simply put it at the bottom of the file.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi AJ,
    Thank you for the reply.
I sincerely appreciate your kind words and using our plugins. Thank you for purchasing them.

Does switching to Legacy resolve the issue with activity?

    Thank you

    Hi.
    No problem with the delay.

    1. Does a featured image set from backend shows up?

    2. I am sorry but I am unable to understand. what is loading of a post from backend? Is it creating a post? Unless a post is created from a group, It won’t be visible inside the group.

    3. It is expected behaviour(atleast for now as we haven’t excluded from archive etc). You have the 1st optin to resolve duplicate content.

    4. Please clarify loading a post from backend.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Suzanne,
    Welcome to BuddyDev forums.

    Thank you for using MediaPress.

A video needs to have proper encoding in order to be playable. We use MediaElementjs player(used by WordPress out of the box) for playing video.

It needs videos to be h.264 encoded. Since not all videos are encoded in that format, you will need a transcoder to do that conversion for you.

We have a free transcoder available(will need VPS as FFMPEG needs to be installed) for the purpose

Please see this post for details.
    https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/mov-format-video-not-playing/page/4/#post-17063

We don’t have an external transcoder support yet(RTMedia does have external transcoder support).

If you can use and setup the local trancoder, all videos will work.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Edward,
yes, It is correct. Please make sure there are no white spaces before

    <?php

tag and you can ignore/remove the last closing tag.

    That is, this

    ?>

    can be safely removed.

    Please give it a try.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Daniel,
You most probably have a lazy loading image plugin or some asset minifier(js/css minifier) which is causing it.

Try to check if there is any such plugin and if yes, disable them and clear your server/browser cache to check.

    Regards

    Hi Edward,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

Where did you put the code? The code should go you to your current active theme(or child theme’s) functions.php

or if you have wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php, you can put it there too.

    Regards
