    HI Max,
yes, I am familiar with it. Please do know that you don’t have to change your choice of plugins due to my familiarity. Select them based on your need.

All I need is one function that check for membership and I believe you can find it in their docs or as the support.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Thorsten,
    Thank you for the details.

It seems you are having some issues with creating tabs with actual content. Please go through the documentation to get starred with it.
    https://buddydev.com/docs/buddypress-user-profile-tabs-creator-pro/adding-new-user-profile-tabs/

    The plugin:-

    1. Allow you to create BuddyPress Components(Tabs/sub tabs for user profile)

    2. Modify existing tab/sub tab, change their label, reorder them, change visibility and availability
    3. Allows you to add any content in tab/sub tab. You can also use shortcodes to add support for 3rd party non supported plugins to BuddyPress. Also, if you want, you can create dynamic content per user using our free addon for the profile tabs.

    4. It can do everything that you see in a BuddyPress component except it can not handle form submissions.

    Hope it clarifies.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Max,
    Thank you for the details.

I am not familiar with it . If you can provide me a set of functions to check for the paid role, I can provide the code with filter.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Bjorn,
    Thank you.

It is not yet complete. I have released a plugin that makes all the videos playable
    https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/mov-format-video-not-playing/page/4/#post-17063

But I have yet to implement the cover extraction part. I am sorry but due to lack of time I am not sure when I will be able to put some time on this.

Extracting cover will need enhancement to our existing transcoder.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Saxena,
    I have released 1.4.3 now.
Please upgrade to 1.4.3. If you have issues since you had downloaded from github, just delete the old version and install new one.

Once you are done with it, I will suggest creating 3 pages( all are optional but may be helpful for users)

    1. Create Gallery page:- If you want users to create gallery, create a page and use this shortcode

    [mpp-create-gallery]

    2. MY Gallery Page:- Lists gallery created by the user. Only create it if you need it. You can do it by creating a page with following shortcode

    [mpp-list-gallery for=logged component=sitewide]

    3. All Galleries page(If needed)

    [mpp-list-gallery]

    And everything should work.

The global shared galleries will work too. Try visiting the after update.

Let me know how it goes for you?

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Max,
Please let me know which membership plugin you are using and I will post the code. We can use the filters to achieve it.

    Hi Nate,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

I am not aware of any plugin that allows using data from custom source for profile fields.

If you only need it for a particular field, you can filter on ‘xprofile_get_field_data’.

    Hi Hugo,
There seems to be 2 options

    1. Group types:- Group types are like categories. They are not groups. They are terms under which you can classify the groups.

    2. Using a plugin which allows selecting a group as parent groups. There are a few alternatives here
    https://github.com/dcavins/hierarchical-groups-for-bp

    or
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-group-hierarchy/

I will suggest trying the first and see if that works for you.
