    The shortcode is correct but you don’t need both of these

    
for_group="games" primary_id=2

    Either the for_group or primary_id will work. The for_group overwrites the value of primary_id.

    For me, It works for admin too, I don’t see an issue. Please check for javascript error in console and see if you can find something.

    Will update the plugin in next 2 days.

    Please do note that a private media is not hidden(Not inaccessible if a user knows the actual file url).

    In case a file is highly sensitive, I won’t suggest sharing via MediaPress(Just clarifying). We follow the general social media strategy where file urls are directly accessible if known but the user interface enforces the notion of privacy. This is due to performance reasons.

    You can use the ctrl+mouse click to select one or more value. This is how the multi select works in browser.

    Is that not working for you?

    Hi Mark,

    I might not have been clear in my previous reply.

    If you can organize those documents in one or more gallery, we can update the plugin to let you enable/disable the download option per gallery selectively.

    Will that solve the issue for you?

    Is there a possibility that you are on WordPress multisite? Can you please post a screenshot of your general settings page for MediaPress(where extensions are listed).

    It seems the media widget and shortcode might have issues with remote media. I am looking at it and will be pushing an update in next 2 days.

    I am still not sure of the random media though. Will check and report back.

    Thank you for reporting. I am pushing an update today. It has been long due for the Auto Activate as well as the Ajax Registration plugin since WordPress not supports email login out of the box.
