    Hi Harry,
    It was a bit of ignorance on may part too. I will be more careful in future. Since I had plans for the plugin, I did not pay much attention to the reply and was hoping to go through it again when starting on the plugin.

    As of David, I saw two mail notification and his query here, since it seemed only about general topic, I went ahead and replied.

    I sincerely appreciate your patience. I will be trying to get it next week. If it takes more that couple of hours(I don’t think that it will), I will be informing here.

    Thank you for asking.

    Doing it via directory will be a little bit complex process since you want to add the links in header. I will suggest creating a member list shortcode and using that for the same in normal pages and linking to them.

    I sincerely appreciate the offer. We do not distribute the translation files with MediaPress. It uses WordPress.org translation service for the same.

    Hope you are doing well.
    I just wanted to put an update

    1. I have got oembed working properly. It supports all the sites that WordPress supports(and you can extend via 3rd party plugins). Currently, we support only photos/videos for oembed. There does not seem a way to detect audio/doc from oembed provider https://oembed.com/. I have left it to explore in next releases. I am hoping to add a link type in future too.

    2. Direct remote url(to image, video, doc etc) is supported and you can setup MediaPress to either download the media locally or simply link to the remote url. In case of linking to remote, we won’t be able to create thumbnails. In other words, Setting up MediaPress to download locally is preferred but I have left it upto the site admins to decide.

    I still need a little more time to work on the template files and some cleanup before going public. I will be needing at least till the day end today(Wednesday, PST Time).

    At the moment, what I have got is better than my expectation and I hope you all will like it when it will be available.

    I am sorry that you feel that way. Since this task was low on priority, I had not even read your reply. Also, we will mostly ignore any paid custom job request on our forums since we already have a hire us page(as you did mention).

    Contacting us via the hire us page fetches response within 48 hours(We do not guarantee that we will do the task, but we do get back to. Accepting a job depends on our available time, the task and a few more things).

    I appreciate you using the plugin and I had no intention to waste your time. When I saw it today, the task was not significant, was not related to the plugin and we are very short on time at the moment. So, I had to deny it.

    Please note that I do not mean any argument, all I am trying is specify the normal way we work, so you or someone else don’t feel this way in future.

    I am sorry but I am not available for custom work at the moment. You will need to hire someone else. I will suggest looking at upwork or codeable.

    As of the group posting, yes, the goal to to achieve that. I am still not sure what the outcome will be but I will devote a few hours on the plugin and try to get the 3.x compatibility as well as the group posting into it.

    At the moment, we do not provide an option for it in the shortcode. Yes, It uses the thumb images.

    Please note that if you update the size of thumb, It will only have effect on newer uploads. For older images, you might have to regenerate the thumbnail.
