Hi George,
Thank you. There is no need to deactivate the plugins. I see that you are only using Group galleries. In that case, the uploads are per group and not counted in user. The user storage are only counted for sitewide and members gallery.
In order to change it, You will need to modify the storage limit for groups.
I went ahead and set it 3GB for the one group we have. Please give it a test.
Thank you
BrajeshHi George,
I am sorry but I have no idea why it is happening on your site.If possible, please provide me temporary admin login and I can do a quick check of the things.
Thank you
BrajeshThank you for checking. The only other plugin that can cause conflict are the plugins from us on customising storage based on various settings). I am no sure any other plugin can do it.
I am filtering on ‘mpp_allowed_space’ to set the limit.
please let me know if you find more details.
Hi George,
I am not sure what is causing it for you. I have now tested the plugin again with BuddyPress 3.1 and MediaPress 1.3.7 and it is working as expected for me. I tested with multiple roles as well as individual scores. Can you enable the show storage quota and check if the plugin correctly increases the quota or not?

BrajeshFor the basics
https://tools.pingdom.com/
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
https://gtmetrix.com/This should help you understand the server response. Check for the load time, total time to first byte, total size etc and you should be able to fix a few basic issues.
After that, try using Query Monitor to monitor the database calls on a page/memory used. This should give you a little more insight.
If everything looks good, and the speed has yet not improved, install and configure some in-memory cache like redis.
And the last step will be to use an APM to monitor and find bottlenecks in the application.

Sure. I am sure the plugin will speak for itself 🙂
Hi George,
I will test with MediaPress 1.3.7 today and check.is there any chance that you are using some hook on the storage for MediaPress? Also, is there any caching(database caching) plugin active?

Hi Graham,
Thank you for asking. It is ready and it works with BuddyPress 2.9.x. I have yet to test with BuddyPress 3.0. I will do that today. Once I am done with the testing today, I will need a day to create the plugin page and the documentation.
In any case, I will be able to make it available by Late Sunday or early Monday.
Thank you for the patience.

Please upgrade to 1.2.7 and you can select the “Displayed User” from the role dropdown.
Hope that helps.

Brajesh That’s very strange. Did you try updating your limit from your profile in admin dashboard?
