OK,
Before suggesting anything else, I will look at the site again today and see if it is some javascript error or something else.Regards

Thank you Alex.
The one thing that I noticed that you are using RT Media and MediaPress both. You should try to use only one of these. Try disabling RT Media for test and see if it works.

Hi Alex,
It is a conflict for sure. If it is not theme, It could be a plugin. Please visit Dashboard->MediaPress->Tools and post me the debug info.

Brajesh No problem. Normally we target for compatibility with 5.3+.
This is still an experiment and nothing much and contained some non compatible code.
I have updated it now. It will allow adding media to replies on forum topic.
To be a fully functional, It needs media delete and some other functionalities.
Regards
BrajeshSorry about that. We used a reserved word in method name which is allowed in PHP 7 and above but will give fatal error below it.
I will just change it and test too.

Hi Bo,
Thank you.It is easy to achieve.
You need to achieve this in 2 step
1. Allow normal user(say subscriber) permissions(capability) to upload
2. Enqueue WordPress Media modal for front end and attach a handle to trigger opening it.Please see this
https://github.com/buddydev/bbp-attach-mediafor what we did for bbPress.
Hope that helps.

Hi Herve,
1.
a) First image is not part of BuddyPress and you can control it using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/file-renaming-on-upload/b) For the avatars, you may have control over the original filename using the above plugin. For the generated name, there is not much we can do
2. We have a detailed post about this
https://buddydev.com/buddypress/using-different-default-avatar-buddypress-users-based-profile-fields-member-type/and
https://buddydev.com/buddypress/definitive-guide-buddypress-avatars/Hope that helps.

Hi Alex,
I am not sure what is going on there. There is no reason for this. Do you have another setup, if yes, Can you please check the same with a different theme?
I haven’t seen the issue till now for MediaPress.
