    I was able to check it on your site.
    what is the issue that you are facing on members directory? I can see that users are able to be added/removed form circle. Are you looking to filter by circle there?

    Also, I am not sure what do you mean by this “Also unable to see circles sub circles groups in member profile”.
    The circle tab is right after the groups tab on your site.

    You are welcome.

    At the moment, I will not suggest leaving BuddyBoss theme. We are hoping to provide an alternative this year but there is no proper time line due to our current backlog and it is going to take significant effort.

    For the time being, I will suggest staying with BuddyBoss if you are already using it. They have a very good theme( the look and feel of it and I don’t see any similar feel theme for BuddyPress.)

    I think that a Group is more suited for this type of use case. Institute can be a group.

    Member types are taxonomy terms, you can use them to categorize users into these types but how will you relate them will be totally upto you(may be as meta? or custom teable).

    1. The plugin does not restrict number of followers.

    2. Yes, you can make a user follow if another user registers.

    Just saw, you are not using BuddyPress registration and You will not need the auto friendship plugin.

    As a token of thank you, I will check with my team and hopefully supply you code to achieve it next week.

    We do keep the group ids with the post which can be accessed using the following code

    
$group_id = get_post_meta( $post_id, '_bcg_group_id', true );

    Please clarify the question.

    Do you want to allow users to create activity post? If yes, you will need to enable activity component, otherwise, you don’t need to.
