Thank you so much for the video. I can see the issue. I believe I can lower the priority of our protection handling code to fix this issue. That will only fix if the site access is restricted(as in your case).Please allow me upto 48 hours to push a release.

you should avoid this code.Instead, I will suggest that you check current user capability on user_register action and if the user is logged in, set a flag for the newly created user based on the logged user’s role.
After that, you can hook to ‘pre_get_users’ and exclude based on the meta.

the plugin allows followign extensions out of the box
'jpg', 'jpeg', 'gif', 'png',unless you restrict it using some kind of mime type filtering plugins.
What is the extension for the files shot on iphone? What is the error message that you received? Please share and I will assist.
