At the moment, the plugin does not support restrictions based on member type. Our offices will open on Tuesday(currently closed due to festive holidays here in India), I will ask one of our team members to update and add support for the member type based restrictions. welcome to BuddyDev forums.
I am sorry but I am not seeing any reason for this error to happen by our plugins. Can you please temporarily disable our plugin and check if the error is appearing or gone?The function “bp_group_new_topic_button” was deprecated in BuddyPress 3.0 and most probably some old theme or code is adding it to your group.

Thank you for using the plugin.Please make sure the option “Add to admin bar?” is enabled for the new tab.
Also, if it is a new profile tab, I will suggest avoiding use of existing slug e.g “profile”.

Thank you for the topic.The problem in the video/topic is related to admin bar configuration.
You need to make sure to provide the admin bar id as shown here
https://imgur.com/6weayLXfor the modifying item to make it work. we will update/add another video to show it.
Please give it a try.
PS:- The video creator did not consider updating the admin bar id and that’s why it is not reflecting. I will ask them to update the video next week.
