I will suggests asking your theme developer for assisting you with it. It is no direction solution(simple one) and may need template override.
To be honest, I do not think it is needed. The login action is idempotent. Even if a user clicks multiple times, It will have no side effect. So, this can be safely ignored.

The follow is not offered by us and it depends on the follow plugin. I find it strange that anyone will need permission to follow.
The premise of follow is based on one directional communication.

I think this is due to the difference between the free and pro version. We need to bring some changes from pro to free to make it work.
Please use the theme for now. I will push an update in next 2 weeks with this fix in the Community Builder.
