OK and can i add followers and following option for groups
That will depend on which plugin you are using for the follow plugin. we don’t have one currently, so we can’t do anything about it.

Yes, It was a bug when using Multi Member type field, the groups were always synced.
Please upgrade to 1.4.4. It fixes the issue.

It seems there is some other redirect on your site causing it.
