You can enable this option there for registration page.
You may also use

to change all display names with usernames.

We haven’t tested with “Boss” theme recently. We did test with their new “BuddyBoss” theme and it is working properly.

Are you using it with Youzer?
We do not support any integration of our plugins with Youzer. In past, we reached out to Youzer team via a client(and I was involved in the mails directly), but they do not seem to be interested in adhering to common standard or resolving issues.
So, we have stopped any support for Youzer since January.
