Hi JJ,
I am sorry but the code for the restrict email name characters plugin is way too convoluted to help make any compatibility.I had a brush with this plugin earlier(for BuddyDev username availability checker) and I did explore it.
It is written in way too much confusing way to properly comprehend and provide any compatibility.

Brajesh Hi Johan,
I can provide code for disabling the commenting.I currently do not use Paid Membership Pro or Woo Subscription, so, you will need to get some sample code for them to check the membership.

BrajeshHi Kira ,
Thank you for reporting. We do add the notice but it seems they are not working with Nouveau template pack(assuming you are using BuddyBoss or BuddyPress with Nouveau template pack).
We will push an update by Monday to fix it.

BrajeshHi Tosin,
I am sorry, we haven’t made any progress on this. There are issues I am facing.
1. The problem is how do we assign a category to a reportable type. Our categories are independent from the reportable types.
There is a probably a solution for this if we let admins create categories and then on report able type settings, specify which categories will apply.
The problem with this is, It is too much work for site admins to ask them select categories for each type and it may make the plugin use cumbersome.
Also, if we allow content specific categories, we will need 1 extra request for loading form. The reason is , there can be more than 1 reportable type(button) on same page and we need different category for each.
Due to these reasons, it is a bit low on priority. I am going to check a bit more and will update you on Monday if we can provide some other way to achieve the same.
