is there a chance that you are using on eof our plugin
– Buddyress Force profile Photo
– BuddyPress profile Completion
– BuddyPressUser with Uploaded Avatars
I am asking because these plugins do save the user’s avatar presence in database. BuddyPress does not keep this detail out of the box.

I am sharing the download link in next private reply(it is not a public plugin for us yet).
Please activate it and then visit Dashboard->Users, you will see the bulk assign option. You can set/add/remove member type in bulk from there.

Are you comfortable with php?
You will need to use xprofile_get_field_data() to fetch the data and then filter on ‘manage_users_columns’, ‘manage_users_custom_columns’ to show the data.
