    Hi Brajesh,

Thanks for coming back. I’m not too proficient with php, where do i need to add this code? Also what is the location for the profile header area, as it would be useful to add xprofile data there as well.

    Many thanks, Iain

    Hi Brajesh

I think there was a slight misunderstanding – I’m using your
“BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types” plugin and I would like to import some of those fields to the “BuddyPress Member’s Home” widget area or profile home page. Is this possible? Is there a code snippet that can be used to add certain BuddyPress Xprofile data to these areas?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Iain

Hi Brajesh, if i want to add the contents of one of the sign-up fields to the “BuddyPress Member’s Home” how would I achieve this? For example one of my sign fields is a profile photo, how do I add this to the Member’s Home?

    Many thanks,
    Iain

    Hi Brajesh,

Thanks so much for this, you’re a legend. I would never have found this location on my own, very useful to know where these headings are!

    Many thanks,
    Iain

    Hi Brajesh,

Apologies for the delay, have been liasing with Youzify. Have now got this working, even with One User Avatar, and all the Buddydev plugins. I gradually added back all the plugins one by one, and the process completes.

Thanks so much for your help with this, it’s much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Iain

    Hi Brajesh,
So I’ve been talking to the Youzify people and they say that their plugin conflicts with BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro, so now I don’t know what to do. Both plugins are required because I need to add new tabs and control the content but also control the user access to them.

I tested the registration process with BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro disabled, and indeed it does work, so this means that those two plugins do not work together 🙁
    Any ideas?

    Kind regards,
    Iain

Hi Brajesh, thank you so much for the continued support on this, it’s much appreciated. So the One User Avatar definitely conflicts with your plugin, as disabling that allowed it to work. I think Youzify Membership Restrictions is ok, it’s just that their actual settings don’t work.

So if I wanted to restrict access to BuddyPress based on user role, how can i achieve this? So a subscriber cannot access certain BuddyPress tabs (e.g. Tributes, Media), and for the Free member there is a restriction on activity number, so for example 10 uploads per month. Is this possible?

    Kind regards,
    Iain

Hi Brajesh, so I have the registration process working again, and the following definitely seem to conflict with the “BuddyPress Auto Activate Autologin Redirect To Profile On Signup” plugin:

    BuddyPress Profile Visibility Manager
BP Custom Background for User Profile
    One User Avatar
Youzify – BuddyPress Membership Restrictions (BP creates the account but the profile page doesn’t exist and throws 404 error)
iThemes Security – hide backend feature.

Do you have recommendations on how to restrict user access/activity by user role? I want free members to have limits on level of profile activity do you know how I can achieve this?

    Many thanks,
    Iain
