It’s not clear to me exactly how it’s happening, all I know at this stage is that this is the result of that URL call. One thing I notice though. The post_name is clearly not unique, and I seem to recall you saying this was required at some point…?

It’s worth noting that upload from within the profile->gallery area works fine. The main activity feed is the problem, from where most users will want to upload, of course…

The gallery selector popup has
My Profile
selected, but this appears to be ignored.(added here as a reply as I don’t appear to have permissions to Edit the OP).

hey Brajesh,
I’m sure the goal was a good goal 🙂
It’s just that end-users appreciate the “principle of least surprise”. Being a developer myself, I know that’s easier said than done. Your users should also appreciate your really quick response times and helpful assistance. People probably don’t say this enough (as I also know).
Kudos for a really great plugin!

hi Brajesh,
that was it, all good again now (PHEW!).
I expect that will catch out a few other people, so it’s a tad clunky as an upgrade (with no warnings).
However you saved the day and many thanks for the *very* prompt response!
Cheers 🙂

hi Brajesh,
I’ve updated the slugs, as you suggested, and everything looks much better at this end.
Thanks for your assistance.

hi Brajesh,
aha, <slaps head>, the best bugs are the simple ones. 🙂
Ok, so I’ll update all the post_name’s and we should be good. I’ll let you know how that goes…
Cheers

hi Brajesh,
I’m on 1.3.2 now, and I still can’t open any album with the name “Wall”. As it just loops back to display the gallery or galleries page. I’m ok with changing the name for a few manually, but unfortunately, after a recent migration, my site has approx. 5,000 albums named “Wall”, and there are the associated guid links too…
All helpful suggestions welcome.
