Thank you for the question.1. You can use BuddyPress Live notification plugin to show facebook style live notification.
2. The BuddyPress activity comment notifier will show notification(add notifications) if a user needs to be notified(depending on the current comment context.You can use the above two together if you need to.

Hi Daria,
Please visit Dashboard->Users->Profile field and click on Edit for the member type field.Now, from the right side, please looks for “Autolink” section. Make it disabled.
That should do it.
