Thank you Sam.
I am sorry, I could not assist you with your originally planned workflow. I am happy that the current work flow works though.Regards
Brajesh Hi Vivek,
Thank you for the question.1. The ajax registration and Social registration are two different methods of registration and are not interconnected.
Yes, we may show the social buttons(it should be visible on the form) but if your user goes with social login, ajax registration does not get involved with the process.
2. You will need to contact the social login plugin developers and ask them for how to enable adding email from the user.

Hi Phil,
Thank you.
I do understand that your expectations are right but BuddyPress treats single item this way. You can check this by visiting a group and posting an activity and then clicking on the view link of that activity. For single activity, group does not have an end point and it goes to user specific single page.
We do bring people to a group if there are more than 1 notifications from a group(we simply point them to groups activity stream).
In case of single activity, pointing to permalink seems reasonable to me.If you want, I can point to the group activity stream.
Please do note that unlike Facebook, BuddyPress groups does not have single activity end point(does not handle single activity permalink).

Hi Phillip,
Thank you for the reply.1. For member types, I was able to fix the updating of profile fields when a non included member type changes.
2. I still need to work on a strategy to do the member type update when field changes. We do not want the field change to affect user’s member type(which are not governed by this field). I am working on a strategy for this and hopefully will have a release today.3. For Group Activities notifier, I could not reproduce it. Can you please tell me how to reproduce it? Visiting a group and posting activity, the notification takes to single activity screen. This is the correct behaviour.
What you are seeing here is not the personal feed, It should be single activity permalink page. Please recheck.Thank you

Hi Mic,
Thank you for the patience.
I have looked at it now. It was a bug in the visibility option we have.
Please upgrade to 1.1.8
https://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-user-profile-tabs-creator-pro/This should work.

Oops. It seems I have been messing it.
Please keep using your own for now. It does causes double query but is still better than my suggestion.
I will share better code later today.

Hi Timothy,
Your code will work fine. By using my previous suggestion, you can avoid extra database query for fetching post type entries(We already fetch them for .PS:- Please use my updated code. In the previous code even I used an inefficient internal method.
