    Hi Vanessa,

    Thank you for the question.

At the moment, we don’t have the option for importing from RTmedia.

MediaPress does have built in API for importing WordPress Attachments or any local/remote file as gallery media
    https://buddydev.com/mediapress/media/import-wordpress-attachment-mediapress-gallery/
    https://buddydev.com/mediapress/media/importing-file-mediapress-gallery/

Writing a file importer should not be a difficult task(for someone who understands RT Media data structure), keeping the activity from the RT media is something we are unsure of(It will need a lot more time to understand their association).

RT Media supports both media and album and I am not sure if they support nested albums too. I and my team currently lacks much familiarity with it to put an importer.

It is on our wishlist but a bit low on priority(Before we write an importer, we will need to understand their schema and a few more things).

I am not sure if we can help you with it currently. I am sorry about this.

    Thank you Vanessa.

We are going to explore the Vimeo API and we will have all the options like you have specified.

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for the question.

    1. Only non negative integers are supported(0 or above)

    2. For the non standard tabs, we do plan to keep adding a reference. If you can tell me which tabs you have from which plugins, we can update our reference with it.

In future, we may have an info page that will list all current tabs and their number.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Vanessa,
With slight tweaking any of the existing cloud storage plugin will work for MediaPress.

We also have our own solution for storing/delivering media from AWS s3 ready. It still needs some testing(We are in the process of moving to another location), hoping to review and release it in 1st or second week of April.

Brajesh Singh on in reply to: Cannot retrieve xprofile field data #21619

    Hi,
    Thank you for the reply.

This is expected behaviour. You were most probably checking the edit profile page not the view profile page. On View profile you will not see any data related to the field.

It is an expected behaviour for BuddyPress. You need to save the profile to make the data available. Even though xprofile_get_field_data can be tweaked to return default, I believe writing a warpper is a better solution.

You may want to create a ticket here and report this to BuddyPress team.

    Hi Vanessa,
    Thank you.

I tested again and can see the issue with large portraits. A solution I see is setting a max height on the image, based on the current viewport. I will be implementing a solution for this by tomorrow.

    Thank you

    Hi Vanessa,
    Thank you.

I agree with you about this. Using vimeo will have another advantage of processing the file for html5 player. We won’t have to worry about various file formats.

I will love to explore this integration for a future addon. I am not sure if this can help you in current project but I am putting high on our list of todos for MediaPress.

PS:- hen are you going live with the site? Or is it live already. Just getting an idea.

    Thank you
    Brajesh
